AWARD-winning Project
Following the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, I noticed a growing interest in winter sports, yet a general lack of professional knowledge about them. Moreover, the Olympic venues still hold value beyond the competitions. Seizing the opportunity presented by the China International College Students’ “Internet+” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, I organized a team of students from six different majors across the Communication University of China and Beijing University of Technology. Together, we developed an app for children named “BingBingHuiSheng,” aimed at promoting winter sports culture.
The app features dynamic audio stories and expertly crafted interactive animations to entertain and educate children about various winter sports. Additionally, in collaboration with Beijing Yes Director’s Studio, we hosted an offline Winter Sports Culture Festival for children at the Olympic venues. The project includes contributions from notable Olympic gold medalists, such as freestyle skiing aerials champion Mengtao Xu and men’s short track speed skating 1000m champion Ziwei Ren, ensuring the content’s credibility and expert insights.
The project has been recognized with national-level endorsement in China and has won several awards:
It has become a collaborative project between the Communication University of China and Beijing Sport University.
